Fall Fest 2026

The Friends Fall Festival, on a crisp and sunny Saturday, September 19th, was very successful, thanks to the efforts of and participation by many in the Higley Friends “family”. Smiles and laughter were abundant. The Friends are characterized by passionate individuals, each of whom takes their particular activity and runs with it. All these individual efforts create an event and also characterize how the Friends function as an organization.

There are many who should be recognized: Park employees- Park Supervisor Henry for providing the resources we needed, Rhonda, holding down the fort in the office, Mindy for offering crafts activities. The steering committee for the event headed by David Trithart, Jolene Carotenuto and Art Michaelek for the trail runs and walks; Tyler Romlein for the cycling activities, Sarah Lister for the bike rodeo, Joan Trivilino for promotional items and sales, Judy Fuhr for advertising, Eric Williams-Bergen for website updates. Special thanks to Gary Snell of Parishville Orchards for the delicious apples, Kim Carr for designing the posters, and Big Spoon for the food.

The next big event is Fall Trails Day on November 7th. We look forward to seeing you there.
